“In September’s ‘The Interference,’ Rob Siler’s lighting captured the feelings of the protagonist, a woman accusing a popular football player of sexual misconduct. The lights appropriately varied between nightmare-scape and harsh reality, and created moments of darkness alongside the feeling of being put in the spotlight. Siler also created the striking projections that added to the show’s mood. Siler was previously honored, in 2020, for his work on “Becoming Dr. Ruth” for Orlando Shakes.”
